Your client record, whether electronic or paper, is kept at the offices of The PSOJ in Kingston, Jamaica. Paper records forming part of your client record may also be kept in offsite storage. Your client record may be transferred to other locations for disaster recovery purposes.
You are entitled to access, through a written request, the membership information contained in your client record. The PSOJ will only retain your membership information as long as it is necessary, including updating the product or service or as required by law. When we destroy the information, we will use safeguards to prevent unauthorised parties from gaining access to the information during the process.

The PSOJ uses a 256 bit SSL encryption for all e-commerce transactions.
The PSOJ commits to refunding payments made for attendance to any of our functions in the event that the function is unavoidably cancelled.
Payments made in the form of subscriptions or other fees will also be reimbursed provided that a documented request is received by the PSOJ at least one month before the beginning of the subscription or membership period. Please note that 5% of the dollar amount paid will be deducted for transaction costs.
Request for reimbursement may be made by way of email, written letter or fax, and should be addressed to the “Chief Executive Officer, Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica, 39 Hope Road, Kingston 10, Jamaica, W.I.”. Requests for reimbursement should contain the following information: Full contact information of the proposed reimbursed, date of payment, amount paid, mode of payment, and Name of service paid for.
Entities or individuals that qualify for reimbursement, having paid electronically, will be refunded within 30 business days after a formal request of refund has been made. Payments made by cheque or any other non-electronic means will be refunded within 30 business days after a formal request for reimbursement is made and, receipt of bank account information is acknowledged by the PSOJ. All payments done by the PSOJ will be remitted electronically.
